Chandler Park Golf Course

Chandler Park Golf Course is another one of Detroit's four courses. If I had to say what level of play this course is, I would put it between beginner and intermediate level.

The course plays fairly short for your typical course, but there are many tough holes with hazards on them. When I was younger, the course had no water, but it had more trees, but since a tornado came through the course about ten years ago, there aren't as many trees, but there is now water on several holes which come into play most of the time.

If you're a skilled golfer, I would say you would have no problem shooting well here. Even though I am pretty experienced myself, I always love playing here because it is an easy and relaxing course to play, and it's one of the places that I played frequently when I was younger. A fun note to mention is that Interstate 94 is right at the back of the course and in my earlier days I've had and seen many golf balls go over the short fence that seperates the freeway from the golf course.
